I have provided childcare for several families over the past ten years, all of which I have excellent references from. I have spent four years working as a nanny and thoroughly loved it. I am now a Special Education Assistant working for the Surrey School District, starting back up in September. I am currently working as a part-time Summer Camp Leader with children ages four to twelve over the summer. I am also the Children's Ministry Leader at my church and currently teach Sunday school to a group of children ranging from ages one to four. As you can see, working with kids is my passion! I put my whole heart into spending time with your kids and think of it as more than a job. I love playing games, creative play, reading books, crafts, etc. I am very creative and love to think of new ways to have fun. I don’t agree with letting a child sit in front of the TV for countless hours; instead I like to go out on 'adventures'. I love to go for walks, take trips to the library, attend drop-in activities, have picnics and spend hours playing at the playground. I don't have a problem following the rules of discipline you have set in place, as well as keeping to a routine. I am able to cook meals, prepare bottles/formula, etc. I will always make sure your home looks the same, or even better, than it did when I arrived.
