    My name is Ashley ford, I am 22 years old, and I was born and raised in Vancouver. I am a very responsible and considerate person. All my life, I have loved the energy and positivity that children bring, and it would be very rewarding for me to help them succeed and learn. I find joy in taking care of others, especially those who need the guidance of an older role model as they grow into the people they are meant to be. Because of the young children in my family and the babysitting I did all throughout high school, I have a lot of experience looking after a wide variety of ages. My compassion and caring disposition makes it easy for me to understand and empathize with children. Not only do I think it is very important to surround them with a fun, fulfilling, and positive environment, I also believe in the power of encouragement and kindness. In the future, I plan to obtain my Early Childhood Education certificate in order to gain more knowledge about and experience with children.
