Hello, my name is Elizabeth and I am a mature 20 year old seeking a full-time position from the end of April until the end of August. I currently am in the Massage Therapy program at Georgian College and I am entering my 5th semester in September.
I have a lot of experience working with children, I worked as a nanny last summer for a Pilot and took on the parental roles that were required while he was away with work. I have also been babysitting since the age of 13 and with that I have many references that can provided to you upon request. I also have Health Care Practitioners First Aid training as well as a police check since they both were required for both my job working with children and my schooling. I also have been involved with camps my whole life and have worked at a Lil' Monkeys Playgrounds (children's play place) for over 2 years as a birthday hostess, Columbia International Summer Camp as a Day Chaperone, and am currently working as a children's birthday party Chocolatier for Chocolate Tales.
I have volunteered at a few different camps and programs, I volunteered with the CAN skate program, Hamilton Conservatory of the Arts summer camps and Royal Botanical Gardens summer camps where I worked with a variety of children of different ages and interests. I also recently just got back from a volunteer medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic offering my massage therapy knowledge to help out clients in any means I could.
As of now, I am looking for a fun summer job working with children and having the opportunity to get outside and enjoy it.
