My name is Ruth Remudaro and I am a 21-year-old journalism/social work major with a specialisation in Child & Youth Care. I'm currently seeking part-time work in child care to expand my resume. Currently, my resume doesn't include any of my past childcare experience because I have been working in the marketing and freelance sector while I've been living abroad and haven't had a chance to update my resume since coming back to Toronto, but as you'll be able to see I have had a lot of experience with all different types of people and can attest to my organizational and multitasking skills.
I have lots of open availability that way I can tend to the needs of your family. I am here for part-time work, casual babysitting for date nights etc.
Some key points in my qualifications are:
I've worked at a children's salon and birthday parlour where we would cut and style young children's hair, as well as hosting birthday parties on weekends with 10-20 children. I was in charge of very common household tasks like cleaning, food preparation, and overseeing and creating children activities.
I also have done private child care for families which includes daily tasks like laundry, organising office space or children's play areas, cleaning, pick up/drop off, etc.
I am extremely comfortable around pets and have no problem taking care of them on top of- taking care of your child.
Some of my hobbies include music, art and writing. I am a natural story teller and really love using the arts to get kids involved and engaged. I am a very active person and know how to keep your kids buslting and busy and I believe in a play hard, rest easy mentality. They will be so pooped from a day with me that not only will they get a good nights rest, but you will too!
