hello parents, im from Ireland originally, and have been living in Canada for five years now My experience, qualifications, abilities and skills are perfectly matched with your requirements. I believe that I am an ideal person for this position. I have been working in the area of Social Services for the past 10 years both voluntary and in the non-profit area. I have a Bachelors of Arts Honours Degree in Applied Social Studies in Social work. I have studied in depth Milieu Therapy; Opportunity led work in daily life, Anti-oppressive practice, Focused work, Group work and Ethical issues. I have also studied Crisis Therapeutic Intervention (CPI) at length as part of my four years in college. I am an avid volunteer and regularly commit to fundraising events and other activities that involve local centres in the community especially underprivileged kids in inner city communities, I have been volunteering at a women refuge centre for victims of domestic violence for the past 3 years where I would work mainly with the children and young people who would stay at the refuge.
