My name is Gillian Dunlop. I am 21 years old. I have been taking care of children since I was 14 years old and have experience with children of all age groups. My job this past year has been to look after an 8 yr old and 12 yr old girls who live across the street from me and helping them with a variety of activities and homework. My other jobs have included a 2 year old girl, a 3 year old girl and two boys 6 and 8 yr olds. I love children of all age groups. This past summer I was an au pair in British Columbia, Canada. I am working with 4 and 6 year old boys. The 4 year old is special needs with Oppositional Defiance Disorder and ADHD so I have gained a lot of experience. I absolutely love being around children as I enjoy participating in children's activities such as going to the park, swimming with them, playing football, baking, any sports and interests the children might have. The boys I currently watch love to dress up in costumes, we role play, play tag, draw, do arts and crafts and work on learning activities. I consider my strengths to be a flexible person who is understanding and patient. I am energetic and enjoy a good challenge. I am overall a happy person who can sit and act out a children's story one evening and also walk to the park and play with the children. I am honest, hardworking and a good communicator when it comes to working with children I hope you will take time to consider me.
