    Hi,
    My name is Mikayla and I am originally from Victoria, BC. I moved to Edmonton in 2015 to pursue an education at the University of Alberta in Elementary Education. I believe education is the key to success!
    during my third and fourth year, I was a nanny 30 hours a week, and had to leave the family when I graduated and began teaching. I spent the last three years teaching Kinder, grade 1 as well as grade 5 through 8. I am moving back to Vancouver Island and I would like to take a little break from the school systems to teach and care for a little one.
    I have experience with children aged anywhere from 2 moths, to 18 years old. I have worked in three day cares, out of school care and volunteered at camps and events for all ages throughout my entire life.
    Care center's have been a great experience, they have exposed me to many ages. However, I am looking to connect with a family, to be able to really make a difference in a child's life.
