Extensive experience working with children, internationally and domestically, in a variety of settings, including: private family homes; public primary schools; preschools /daycares; and respite facilities for children with special needs.
Currently I am working full time as a program coordinator for a health center in downtown Toronto (Mon- Fri, 9-5). I am also casual relief staff for a specialized agency providing behaviour management services for Acquired Brain Injury clients all over the Peel/ Halton/ DuffErin regions.
I do babysitting on the side - I find working with children and families creates a nice balance between my employments.
Natural affinity for caregiving, ascertained by fifteen-year employment history in social services, nursing, and care-taking fields (in addition to a steady involvement with community agencies).
