Hi there! I am seeking part time childcare work this spring/early summer. I have considerable experience with children; from 2008 to 2012 I worked as a private childcare provider while pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the U of S. After graduating, I gained full time employment as an Early Childhood Educator, a position that I held for over a year. I am currently employed casually as Active and Creative Play Leader with MEND, a healthy lifestyle program for parents and young children. Through my work with children, I have become experienced in developmentally appropriate program planning and implementation. My program plans consist of weekly activities that are chosen to foster development in language and literacy, math and science, the arts, and gross motor activity. I have recently been notified that I have been accepted to the University of Toronto to do my Master's in Child Study and Education. As such, I will be moving in August, 2014 and am looking for temporary employment until June or July. I am flexible on the days that I work, but I would prefer them to be between Monday and Friday.
