Hello,
I like to think that kids are an extension of ourselves but that we can learn from them as much as they can learn from us.
My background: I have a very big family and have been surrounded by children all of my life. I started baby-sitting when I was 16, and over the recent years have had some amazing connections with other families where I was a ‘helper’ and nanny. I am very playful and find it rewarding when I see little people grow and learn things through what I have taught them. I am an active person, and have practiced using gender-neutral pronouns to stray away from societal expectations of boy/girl roles. Any girl can do what a boy can do. And vice versa.
I love to cook and bake and depending on the age I love to have a little helper, otherwise I am able to cook and clean mellifluously with all ages.
I enjoy creating projects or making arts and crafts or playing games that stimulate creativity, memory and expression.
I feel comfortable going on outings (walks/transit) and I’ve had a valid drivers license for over 4 years.
I have been a helper with infants, that including having a personable relationship with the mother, and being a helping hand, and support in any way possible.
I like to think of myself as a loving and warm person with more than enough energy to share with building positive connections/relationships with children and parents.
