I am a mature, responsible, reliable and cheerful person with excellent childcare and interpersonal skills. I simply love children, love caring for them and find them fascinating, and I am seeking further nanny work to continue doing what I love and broadening my experience.
I have been taking care of my cousins since I was 9. My oldest cousin who was born with Down's syndrome needs a lot of attention and honest care. I have looked after him since the day he was born. He was also born with a hole in his heart, so he needed heart medication on a day to day basis. If you have any questions about Down's syndrome I would be more than happy to answer any questions about it.
When I was 12 my sister was born and when I was 14 my other cousin was born. I have been looking after all of them from day one as their babysitter. Once in a while, the occasional times when their parents would go out of town and I would where I would:
Wake them up on time for school
Pickup/drop off
set up play dates
help them with their homework
Light housekeeping
Swimming supervision
Laundry
Meal Preparation
Grocery shopping
Errands
Homework supervision
Gardening/yard work
Within the last 10 years I have been caring for many other kids as their primary babysitter as well.
Here are a few of my skills and qualifications: • Able to give detailed and accurate care to newborns, toddlers and young adults • Comprehensive knowledge of preparing bottles for babies and care for feeding equipment • Thorough understanding of dressing children appropriate to the activity • Highly skilled in washing and ironing children’s clothes • In-depth knowledge of shopping for children’s requirements • Proven record of transporting children to school and other activities • Able to arrange appropriate educational and physical activities for children • Proven ability of reading to and with the children and helping with homework • Effective housekeeping and errands running skills • Hands-on experience in all aspects of preparing meals and snacks for the children • Excellent skills in planning and supervising meals for children • Able to change diapers and bathe babies.
I am not a partier, smoker, nor am I a drinker. I love to travel, cook, read, go for walks, play volleyball, experience new things and meet new people. I am very friendly and get along with everyone:)
