I'm Ashley, I'm 26 and looking for part time job 1-2 days a week. At the moment I work full time with 3. In July 2018 I will be going to part time while she's on Mat leave and will be going back to full time in May 2019.
I have worked with children for what feels like forever. I have experience starting when my brother was born, (I'm 8 years older). I would help my mom change, feed and helped bathe. At 16 I began helping my friend who has twins and I worked part time during school days and full time in the summer. I helped her for 5 years before she moved away.
A year later I started working with two girl ages 8 and 4. I would pick them up from school at 3:30pm and helped bath, feed and put them to bed I worked until 8pm-9pm. The 8 year old had a behaviour problem and would get violent with me and her sister. I had to leave the job a year later due to the child's behavior. For example she hit me so hard she broke my glasses, she also put my boots in the toilet. She would swear and hurt her sister.
Right now I work full time and I take care of 3 boys ages 8, 4 and 2 (she's pregnant with her 4th child and its A girl). I arrive at work at 7:30am help get the boys ready to be at the bus stop for 8:10am. I have Ben (he's 2) and we play, go for walks and the park. Arts and crafts, Legos ect. He goes for a nap at 12pm. While he sleeps I help with laundry, dishes and whatever else she needs. We go get the boys from the bus stop at 3:25pm. We come back either play inside or go outside. I cook dinner and the boys help me clean up after dinner and she's home by 5:40pm.
I will be staying part time 2-3 days a week. I'm going back in May 2019 to full time.
