    34 years teaching experience - St. Clement's School & York Region District School Board. Music - Vocal & Instrumental, English, Visual Arts certifications, Grades 4 to 13. Conductor of York Regional Police Community Chorus since 2006. Conductor of Opera York Children's Chorus since 2018. President of Richmond Hill Concert Band. Play piano and oboe and currently studying harp. Winner of 2016 Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario Teacher of the Year and Winner of 2018 York Region District School Board Award of Excellence.

      I have known Carla for over fourteen years, Carla has been the Conductor/Music Director of the York Regional Police Community Chorus (previously Male Chorus), position which I interviewd her for. She is intelligent, sincere and has a heart of gold. Her position with the chorus is as a volunteer and she goes above and beyond her required tasks, at times at her own expense. A truly dedicated individual and extremely trustworthy.
