My name is Rachel and I am a Brock University student who is interested in becoming a live in or live out nanny in the Toronto area. I am almost finished my third year of study and will be entering my final year of my sport management degree this fall. With this degree I hope to work in youth athletics organizing and facilitating children's sport programs. I am trying to diversify my resume so that I am able to move my way into working with children, rather than only working in the sport industry.
Working and spending time with children is something I have always enjoyed. Since 2011, I have been babysitting for a family friend with two young children. I think that when I am around kids, I am in one of the places where I am most happy. If I received a position at a home, I would make sure that each child would experience the genuine love and care that they deserve from a nanny. Having a job that involves caring for children would be an exceptional opportunity.
I have loved working with younger children since I was a child myself. I grew up in a family as the second oldest of five children, have many younger cousins and family friends. I love being around children. I am very athletic and played almost every sport growing up. I love helping kids learn the rules of different sports, and playing the sports with them.
Some of my interests and hobbies include basketball, volleyball, soccer, swimming, gymnastics, track and field, singing, dancing, baking, hiking, camping, and gardening.
I am a valuable asset to any organization as I am versatile and will adapt to change without any complaint or difficulty. I have a calm and relaxed demeanor, but when somebody needs something to be done it will be done promptly and correctly. I am someone that you can rely on to get any job done.
