I will be starting school at Blanche Macdonald in july (classes mon-thurs), and I am currently employed with Starbuck as a supervisor and the health and safety lead, but am looking for a more creative and welcoming work environment while a attending school. I have missed working with children and animals since starting with my current job.

Working with children, has allowed me to learn the patience and grounding to be consistent in any situation. I enjoy the responsibility that I have gained through my years of experience working for others. I focus on activities that are hands on (such as art), exercise, that are interactive, as well as with get their brains working. I help with homework (as it comes first), while trying to make it fun. I like working with the kids to make healthy meals and snacks that even they enjoy.

I have my food safe certificate as well as first aid for children. I have had the opportunity to take care of children of all ages, from small infants all the way to young teens, sometimes all at once. I was a nanny of 3 children (1 yr, 2.5 yr, & 7 yr old) for 5 months prior to going to school for a short time, and I cant wait to help out another family!
