I am amazing with children and love spending time with them. Almost all the jobs and volunteer activities I have ever held like teaching swimming lessons, tutoring, nanny, Big Sister's, coaching a swim team, and more, have involved children of all ages. I am patient, fun, organized and very responsible.
I am the oldest of 3 and helped take care of my younger sisters growing up. They still both often come to me for help and support in their adult lives. I was also the live-out nanny/babysitter to 2 girls throughout my undergraduate education until I moved to Toronto.
I have a lot of hobbies and activities that I have taught and shared with children like crafts, knitting, sewing, piano, photography, swimming, tennis, cooking and more. I would never just sit kids in front of the TV when there are so many activities we could enjoy together.
I also had a dog walking business while I was doing my Master's and I am very comfortable working around changing client needs and accommodating schedules.
I have a vehicle and driver's license so it's easy for me to get around and do pickups/drop offs if necessary. I also love to clean, organize and cook and I would happily help out if any of those activities are needed as well.
